Safety is our primary concern at The Sapling School. We believe that successful teaching and learning can only occur in an environment that is safe and secure. The Sapling School has high-quality cameras, fencing, and gates all around the exterior of the building, plus much more.
The Sapling School has high-quality cameras in all classrooms, in shared spaces within our building, and around the exterior of our facility. Parents are provided with access into their child’s classroom. This gives you peace of mind while giving you the ability to feel connected and confident in your child’s care.
Well Lit Facility
Some days the sun doesn’t work as long as we have to. For those long days when dropping off or picking up when the sun is still sleeping, don’t worry we have you covered. Our facility is well lit to help you feel confident, safe and secure in picking up and dropping off your child.
The adage that practice makes perfect is true when teaching children what to do in the event of a real emergency. Our staff and students participate in monthly fire drills and bi-annual lockdown drills to ensure that in the event there is a real emergency the students will know what to do.
All exterior doors to our facility are locked at all times to ensure the safety and security of our staff and students. Our parents and staff are provided with unique access codes to enter through our Procare Entrance ensuring only people we trust are entering into the building.
Qualified and Verified Staff
Our wonderful staff goes through a multi-step vetting process prior to being hired. All candidates go through multiple interviews and are required to provide letters of reference. In addition, all candidates are required to be for credentialed, certified and experienced educators. We also require a background check and finger printing of all individuals looking to seek employment at one of our facilities. Once a candidate becomes an employee of The Sapling School, they are required to complete a mandatory amount of training hours per calendar year in addition to being CPR and first aid certified. This is one more way to ensure that the children under the care of our teachers are in good hands and are being well taken care of.
